Janine and Andre Luz and Bob and Diane DeLong are successful multifamily real estate owners / investors in central Texas and are the owners of TEXcel Properties. They currently own and manage several properties. ​

Janine, Andre, Bob and Diane have extensive experience, education and training in all aspects of locating, purchasing and operating multi-family properties, including educational road trips, live and online training classes, as well as through networking with other owners and operators of multi-family properties. They have been recognized with the Lifestyles Unlimited 2015 Achievement Award for “Doing It Right” and were finalists for the San Antonio Apartment Association Independent Rental Owners of the Year Award in 2015 and 2016 and were also finalist for the Austin Apartment Association Independent Rental Owners of the Year Award in 2017. Mayfield Gardens was a finalist for the San Antonio Apartment Association Property of the Year Award also in 2015 and 2016.

Janine (CAPS, CAM, IROP) retired from her career in Academic Language Therapy in August 2016 and is now focusing on real estate ownership and operation.   Andre previously worked in the tech industry for Apple and in the hotel industry.  They live in Central Texas with their 3 children.

 

Bob (CAM) is a Vietnam Era Veteran and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.  Diane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Edwards University.  Janine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Texas and a Master’s Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin University.

Bob retired from his corporate position in the engineering and construction industry in May, 2014, to concentrate on real estate ownership and operation.  After a successful career as a Montessori pre-school teacher and small business owner, Diane is now focusing on the family and grandchildren and real estate investing.
